furniture design for the vip tentage at the singapore biennale opening party, on 1 september 2006. The modular design consists of two units, the chair and the bench-cum-table. arranged in different configurations, this furniture was used inside the vip tentage by guests including the prime minister of singapore, lee hsien loong, and other high-profile guests; including several government ministers and over 200 artists from around the world. the furniture was later exhibited in the three main biennale galleries: the national museum, tanglin camp, and city hall; as well as inside a temporary cardboard pavillion by japanese architect shigeru ban.
